Last August 17, 2019, PAOFI once again facilitated the meeting of Alumni Scholars held at Elm’s Kapihan and Winery in Quezon City. It was attended by 18 Alumni Scholars who are mostly working professionals and some are fresh college graduates.

The main objective of the meeting is to promote the Foundation thru its social media platforms and networks like Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. Alumni scholars were encouraged to help boost the likes, shares and popularity of these social media platforms. They were enthusiastic about this and gave their comments and suggestions to further improve the social media accounts of PAOFI.

These social media platforms play a big role in creating marketing plan for raising funds to support the different programs and services of the Foundation especially the Scholarship Program. With these, PAOFI is hoping to reach more people and touch their hearts to eventually become future sponsors and a helping hand to PAOFI beneficiaries.

Aside from these discussions, the meeting also served as a venue for get together of the alumni scholars and to know each one’s whereabouts after they graduate. They were happy to share their current employment status as written below.

1. Rochele Ranin – BS Social Work graduate working at NHA for 2 years
2. Jeanelyn Marquina – Industrial Design graduate working for 5 years in a company in Makati
3. Rhoda Ann Lucanas – Education graduate working in St. Anthony for 3 years
4. Angela Tangenta – HR graduate working as HR and Admin Officer in Mandaluyong 2 years
5. Christine Jane Pacaldo – Educ graduate working in a Language Center for 1 year
6. Kathlene Nalasa – Banking and Finance grad working for 7 months in East West Tomas Morato
7. Elsha Espiritu – BS Mathematics grad working in PAOFI for 7 years
8. Jeanelle Gabejan – Educ graduate working in PAOFI for almost 2 years
9. Rhodalyn Balios – ComDev graduate working in UniLab for almost 2 years
10. Ma. Peregrina Lindong – Educ graduate working as teacher for 2 years
11. Charlene Damalerio – IT grad working as software QA in Rare Jobs for 1 year
12. Aileen Ecat – AB English grad working in Admin Office of Robinsons (Toys R Us) for 1 year
13. Carlos John Alido – fresh grad of BSBA major in HR, currently applying for a job
14. Mica Sabedra – Psychology grad working as call center agent for 6 months
15. Ann Murray Tan – Educ grad working as HS teacher at St. Mary’s College for 3 years
16. Vernady Furigay – Applied Mathematics grad working in Accenture as data analyst for 1 year
17. Mary Ann Dela Pena – Accounting Tech grad working as an accounting staff in Makati for 2 years
18. Quina Catalan – Marketing Management grad working at BPI for 2 weeks

Among these alumni scholars, 5 were voted as officers and will lead the next meetings and future plans of the PAOFI Alumni Scholars.
